Product Description
The Wireless shutter release is handy for taking pictures of subjects that are difficult to approach, or to minimize vibration for close-ups and time exposure. It employs a superior anti-interference functionality and allows a choice of 16 different RF channels. This is particularly useful if several photographers are working in the same vicinity as you need only choose a specific channel for each photographer to prevent overlapping signals. Another use would be the ability to control multiple cameras with a single remote by assigning each camera their own receiver channel and switching the channels on transmitter. Range up to 100m (320ft.) without obstacles – Retractable antenna for Long range shots! Designed for groups, macros, Time Lapse Mode, Long exposures / Shutter Mode, Continuous shooting mode, etc.
Compatible with Alphs DSLR series cameras; DSLR-A300 DSLR-A700 DSLR-A350 DSLR-A100 DSLR-A200 DSLR-A900

I have enjoyed this purchase tremendously. Against advisement of everyone saying wireless remotes were useless at short range distances I went ahead and ordered this. Boy were they wrong.

I have used this remote both standing right next to my camera and at distances. I have even tripped the shutter from the comfort of my car!

There’s only one attribute that is both and advantage and a disadvantage. The blinking light on the camera receiver that lets you know it is working. When shoting reflective surfaces it can show up in the image. This can be avoided with filters, shooting at a different angle or as a last resort photoshoping it out. So it’s not that huge a disadvantange. Plus the blinking light is part of the beauty of being a great distance away. You’ll know that it tripped the shutter since you won’t be able to hear it.

Still comptemplating? Well I don’t have to tell you how limiting those cord cable releases can be. What I will tell you is that compared to the manufactured remote releases for each camera type. You will be saving $40 and up even after the shipping costs.

Great product, I would recommend to anyone as a first purchase or an upgrade.

I recently bought this remote for a replacement for one I recieved as a gift that broke. It works great, infact better than the $60.00 remote that broke on me. I’d definately recommend this item to anyone!
