Question: The Canon S2 has only 1 color – silver. I believe this telephoto converter came in only black, doesn’t it look silly to have a silver camera with a long black nose?

I was going to get this adaptor but I am holding back because of it’s color. Instead, I am looking to find a adaptor and converter kit that comes in silver instead of black.

Although I don’t have this converter. Assuming that I am satisfied with its quality and featuers, I would only give it only 4.5 stars because of it’s color.

    Anyone has any ideas?

Does very little to improve objects in the distance. Save your money for another camera would be my suggestion.

I actually bought a similiar item online that includes the adapter, the wide angle, a 2x adapter, lens caps and cases. All were silver to match the camera, all works great. the adapter is for the IS2S but had 4 other adpater rings for other cameras. I usually buy the canon brand but for the price diff, it was a no brainer…I paid just under 70.00 for all

For nearly $100, this adaptor provides very little (1.5X) magnification. It is also a nuisance because you have to switch the camera settings every time you use the lens for it to function properly. This is no big deal with the wide angle adaptor, which is used infrequently by me, but it is when you want to capture a fleeting image at a distance. It is lightweight, but cumbersome and doesn’t accept filters. For real telephoto capabilities, get an SLR with interchangeable lenses. I sent this product back.

Not much bang for your buck here. You still have to get reasonably close for this little thing to work.
